disABILITY Advocate Program
Ready. Willing. ABLE?
The disABILITY Advocate Programs takes partners on campus who are ready and willing and provides them with knowledge, tools, and skills to be ABLE to work more effectively and confidently with people with disabilities. The disABILITY Advocate program promotes understanding and awareness about disabilities in order to create a more inclusive environment for people with disabilities at the University of Texas at Austin. Since its creation in Fall 2011, more than 700 people across campus have gone through a disABILITY Advocate Training.

- Admissions Ambassadors
- Academic Advisors across Campus
- Counseling and Mental Health Center
- Dean of Students
- Division of Housing and Food Services
- International Office/Study Abroad
- Sanger Learning and Career Center
- UT Police Department
- University Health Services/Health Promotions Resource Center
- UT Athletics
- and many more!
