The Alcalde, the alumni magazine of The University of Texas, published an article about Free Minds, “Minds on Fire,” in January 2012.

Also in Spring 2012, Edible Austin published “When We Eat and Why: What Comes First,” an article by Free Minds Project Director Vive Griffith which explores how meals help Free Minds students to build community.

The Free Minds Project was featured in a banner story and video on the UT Website, “Free Minds: Adults break through financial and social barriers to pursue intellectual life in Humanities Institute program,” in May 2008. Read the story. Watch the video
