Former Texas Longhorn defensive end Cory Redding was honored at the Neighborhood Longhorns Program tribute dinner on June 3 for his significant contribution to the community. The dinner kicked off the Neighborhood Longhorns Program’s annual celebrity golf classic, and Redding was named the Honorary Chair of the tournament.
Approximately 300 people attended the dinner to honor Redding and to hear him speak about his continuing commitment to philanthropic endeavors. Redding joins Rick Barnes, Augie Garrido, Bev Kearney, Jody Conradt, DeLoss Dodds, Doug English and Edith and Darrell Royal as past Longhorn honorees at the NLP dinner.
