Diversity and Equity Student Advisory and Action Council Seek Students

September 18, 2012

Students: Apply today to serve on the Diversity and Equity Student Advisory and Action Council (DESAAC)

Make a difference on campus by representing the student body on DESAAC. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply for the two seats appointed by the Vice President for Diversity and Community Engagement. Please see the PDF or Word document.

The purpose of DESAAC is to advance diversity and equity in the UT-Austin community and to ensure the widest range of student voices are heard in order to promote social justice. The council gathers student feedback, creates initiatives to improve campus climate, and advises the Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Community Engagement.

Applications are due Friday, September 21, 2012

For more information, contact DESAAC advisors, Ryan Miller (rmiller@austin.utexas.edu) or Ixchel Rosal (rosal@austin.utexas.edu)
