Kuhn Intellectual Entrepreneurship Award Provides Stipends for IE Interns and Mentors

October 17, 2012

Thanks to the generosity of the Kuhn Family Foundation, the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium (IE) is able to extend the reach and impact of its efforts through the Kuhn Intellectual Entrepreneurship Awards. The awards will be in the form of $1,000 stipends offered to a select number of qualified undergraduate interns with a matching award from the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement for their graduate student mentors. The award is intended to support and encourage students to pursue opportunities that enrich the Pre-Graduate Internship Program experience and will be available in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 academic years.

The Kuhn Family Foundation was established by longtime Austin residents Michael and Alice Kuhn. The foundation funds projects related to education, social justice and ending poverty.
