Zeta Sigma Chi Womens Health Day

November 14, 2012

On November 7, Zeta Sigma Chi presented their annual Women’s Health Day in the SAC. The topic of the program was meant to educate young women on campus of cancers that affect the female gender only: uterine, ovarian and cervical cancer. The presentation also included information that pertained to how young women could find out more about health services here on campus at the UHS office concerning women’s health. Throughout the presentation, attendees were able to ask questions and there were many opportunities to discuss the effects these cancers have on women, as well as the steps that can be taken for prevention and treatment. Each topic that is showcased is one that is very important to the members of the chapter, as well as something that should be open to all women in the UT community. It would not have been possible to host this event without the support of DDCE, Munchy Mart, and Sorority & Fraternity Life.

DDCE is a proud co-sponsor of the Zeta Sigma Chi 2012 Women’s Health Day.
