Freddie Dixon, director of the DDCE’s Community Engagement Center, will speak at the annual Black History Banner Unveiling at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center, Friday, Feb. 1. The event will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Boyd Vance Theatre in the Carver. The presentation is titled, “At the Crossroads of Freedom and Equality: The Emancipation Proclamation and the March on Washington.”
