Cherwitz Article Examines Increasing Diversity in Higher Ed

racDr. Rick Cherwitz, founder and director of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium has just had an article published in the Planning for Higher Education Journal that discusses the challenges of increasing the numbers of underrepresented students in graduate schools. The article also presents the Intellectual Entrepreneurship programs as a way to change the model of education from one of “apprenticeship-certification-entitlement” to one of “discovery-ownership-accountability,” which facilitates exploration and provides students the resources they need to bring their visions to fruition.
