Sponsoring organization: Students for Equity and Diversity (SED)

Welcome program for all incoming students, particularly students of color and students interested in issues of social justice. Steps for Success features a resource fair and a step show, both of which are designed to educate first-year and transfer students about the many university resources and student groups on this campus.

You Bring Out the Asian-American in Me (YBO) – Wednesday, September 3, 2014

Welcome program for incoming Asian American students. This program aims to expose students to university life and resources available on campus and within the Austin community.  YBO consists of a resource fair followed by an Asian American talent showcase.

Sponsoring organization: Queer People of Color and Allies (QPOCA)

Welcome program for incoming qpoc and ally students. Bloq Party connects students to LGBT resources on campus and within the Austin community while highlighting Queer culture through song, dance and poetry.
