Math Masters

Overview

Math Master students

The Math Masters Program is a collaborative partnership between Agile Mind, the Math Department, the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement (DDCE) and the Charles A. Dana Center at The University of Texas at Austin. By joining forces, these partners and participating schools will bring together the best practices found in research and in the field to increase student success.

Math Masters prepares students from underrepresented Texas high schools with the skills necessary for successful completion of college-level math courses. Math Masters offers a dual credit Calculus course that will provide 4 hours of college credit upon successful completion of the course, professional development opportunities and mentoring opportunities for math teachers, and college awareness initiatives for students.
