The power of 2000 UT students, faculty, staff, and Austin community members coming together is huge, and everyone is essential in the success of the event. Giving time is only part of the equation, though - or volunteers have nothing to do without the generosity of donors who fund the tools, soil, wood, paint, ladders, etc. that turn into garden beds, freshly painted homes, outdoor classrooms, and improved public spaces.
