You’re living proof that The University of Texas at Austin students are making an impact all over the world. The Project is proud to invite all Texas Exes to participate in Project 2013 through “Project Worldwide!’
The Project is UT’s Largest Day of Service, and 2014 is the event’s 15th anniversary! In partnership with an Austin neighborhood, we bring about 2000 students, faculty, and staff from the university for one day of service. For 2014, our goal is to include all Texas Exes chapters around the country to participate with us, so you’ll be volunteering in your community while we’re volunteering here in Austin!
Event Information (Nationwide):
If your chapter is interested in participating in UT’s Largest Day of Service, let us know! It doesn’t matter what you do, we just want to know about it. Food drives, blood drives, Habitat for Humanity home builds, and food bank donation sorting are all great group service projects.
To sign up your chapter, or find out how to participate in our first nationwide service event, visit Project Worldwide through The Texas Exes.
Event Information (Austin):
Registration for volunteers will open in January. We look forward to seeing you back at Project 2014!
We will have a special work site near event headquarters for any UT alumni who would like to come out and volunteer on Project day with current students, faculty, and staff, as well as residents of the Holly/East Cesar Chavez community. As always, we look forward to seeing our Project alums, and are thrilled to be joined by members of the Texas Exes Austin Young Alumni!
