Community Fair

In addition to all the volunteer work happening in Dove Springs on February 23rd, Consuelo Mendez Middle School will also host a community health fair!

The fair brings together the Dove Springs and Onion Creek communities, city and community agencies, UT Austin, and St. Edwards University to provide resources and entertainment for everyone in the community. There will be information and activity booths for the whole family, as well as performances and presentations by several local groups

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!

EVENT INFO:

  • 9:30am-1pm, Consuelo Mendez Middle School Gymnasium
  • Children’s activities, games and cultural performances
  • Helpful information about local family resources
  • Free workshops from community businesses and organizations.

VENDOR REGISTRATION:

Registration has reached capacity.  If you are a vendor still interested in participating in the fair, please email the event coordinator, Leonor Vargas (leonor.vargas@austinisd.org) – Director of the Mendez Middle School Family Resource Center.

PARKING:

Event parking will be along Palo Blanco Lane, and also at Widen Elementary. Handicapped spaces are available in the east parking lot of Mendez Middle School.
